The Root Studio 7 opened in August 2025, a yoga and Pilates studio started by Natalie Kozlowski, a former professional dancer who performed on Broadway and at Disney before building a second career in cosmetology and hospitality. Kozlowski's path to the studio ran through a breast cancer diagnosis and, afterward, a decision to build something centered on healing rather than performance. She had worked in Park Square years earlier, and after her son enrolled at FishHawk Creek Elementary, she knew she wanted the studio there specifically, not in some other retail pocket of Lithia.
"Dance was my first love," she said of the training that started in childhood, long before the studio existed.
The Root Studio 7 has a lease and a storefront, so on paper it belongs on the official tenant list next to Anytime Fitness. But the way it entered the community's rhythm looked more like the unofficial calendar. In July 2026, the studio hosted a free community wellness event at Park Square, open to every age and experience level, no membership required. That is not how a typical new retail tenant introduces itself. It is how a neighbor introduces herself.
The Market Comes Back the Way It Always Does

After its usual summer pause, the market returns to Park Square on Sunday, October 5, 2026, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and it will continue on the first Sunday of every month through May 2026. Expect the same mix that has defined it for years: food trucks, produce, pet supplies, gifts, and home goods, alongside whichever vendors sign up that season.
The market is the one event where the official and unofficial calendars actually overlap. It draws the same families who show up for pickleball on Tuesday and the same seniors who show up for OWLS dinners, but it is organized centrally, has a fixed schedule through next spring, and does not depend on any single resident keeping it alive.
What Actually Fills a Tuesday
Put the two calendars side by side and a real pattern shows up. The businesses at Park Square provide the buildings, the parking, and a handful of services people need on a schedule they control.
